This bike holds the very first, and only, 1987 YSR National Championship winning motor within it's frame. The frame is from a 1990 YSR while the original frame now holds my YZ80 motor. This is the only YSR I own that will not get Cheetah Racing bodywork, it uses YSR50.com R1 Replica Body Work this year and received the very first production body from Jayroot. I plan on painting it the 1990 color just like the original bike, I think it will look sharp, I always liked that paint scheme.
It uses a Fox shock, Team Calamari clamp and fork brace, the engine is 62cc, Motoplatt ignition, 5 speed gear box, GT80 clutch, Toomey pipe, 26 mm TMX Mikuni carb, TCR swingarm pivot bushings, the side rails at the swingarm pivot are plated, the steering stem area is shored up also. It weighs 156 LB full of fuel. It has my tall seat in this photo, I need to practice! Dunlop TT91GPs are my tire of choice.
